IDEATE’s chief design officer recently incorporated her learning from her alma mater Stanford’s D-School to a Product Design and Development course at NUST Business School which she co-taught. It was an attempt to reorient the existing course towards a practical, hands-on deep dive into User Experience Design, following the D-School’s Design Thinking Framework. Design Thinking is often taught in a single workshop or bootcamp, whereas, it requires consistent practice on real-world problems to fully absorb and internalize the process.
